Our services

Work Cover

Coastal Exercise Physiology has current State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA) accreditation to work with WorkCover and compulsory third party (CTP) insurance agencies. We have an extensive background in rehabilitating individuals suffering from a work or motor vehicle-related injury and honour the intentions of returning the individual back to work safely.

DVA

Coastal Exercise Physiology provides services to those covered under DVA. Exercise Physiologists manage chronic health conditions and/or injuries by providing exercise rehabilitation for Veterans to meet their clinical needs. These services intend to give Veterans the skills to effectively self-manage their health conditions through exercise.

To be eligible for DVA services, veterans must hold a DVA white card or gold card. A D904 referral form is required to see an Accredited Exercise Physiologist for clinically necessary treatment; you can be referred by a GP, Medical Specialist or Health Professional as part of a hospital discharge.

Private Health

Exercise Physiology services with the intent to prevent or delay chronic health conditions or injuries are eligible for private health rebates. Private health rebates are applicable if you have private health insurance with extras that includes Exercise Physiology cover.

Rebates may be applicable to individual sessions - you can contact your health insurance provider if you are unsure of your health insurance cover.

NDIS

Plan-managed and Self-managed funding.

We provide Exercise Physiology services to NDIS participants in the clinic, home or pool settings. Coastal Exercise Physiology focuses on improving the health and well-being of NDIS participants and work closely with families and supports to achieve the most optimal care.

Medicare

Have you been experiencing a chronic injury, disease or illness? If so, you may be eligible for a chronic disease management plan through your GP. Consequently, this CDMP allows you to access 5 sessions in a calendar year with an allied health professional.
